Hexagon AB, a Swedish conglomerate, recently acquired a Thai metrology distributor, Thaimach Sales & Service Co.

Hexagon reports that its new subsidiary, to be renamed Hexagon Measurement Technologies Thailand, will be its largest distributor of coordinate measuring machines in Thailand.

“Hexagon Metrology’s sales of metrology products in Thailand amount to approximately $3 million U.S. dollars,” says Ola Rollén, Hexagon president and CEO. “Our new subsidiary will continue to positively develop Hexagon’s operations in this fast-growing market.”
